A
Astral Projection
The ability to separate the consciousness from the phsyical body, thereby allowing the projector to be in two places at once. This can manifest as an invisible form, or as a completely solid, visible body devoid of any other abilities the projector may possess. The projector doesn't necessarily have to possess this ability, as a spell may be used as a substitute, but known possessors of this ability have included Prue Halliwell, Rex Buckland (or rather, the warlock posing as Rex Buckland), and Mrs. Winterbourne, a teacher at Magic School.

Book of Shadows
A Book of Shadows is a collection of spells, demons, potions, etc. that a good witch will use to vanquish evil. Alternately, an evil witch will keep one that helps them kill good witches and steal their powers. An individual can have their own Book of Shadows, or a family can pass down a singular one from generation to generation. The most famous one belongs to the Charmed Ones, which was first started by their ancestor Melinda Warren and has progressively grown throughout the centuries. The one that the Charmed Ones possess can protect itself from evil, and is the key to their powers, meaning that what affects them affects the Book. For example, when the Charmed Ones were turned evil, so too did their Book. The evil counterpart to the Charmed Ones' Book of Shadows is The Source's Grimoire.

Demon
Demons are agents of evil and chaos (though in the mirror world, they're actually the good guys). They reside in the Underworld, though some can take a human appearance and walk around topside, even going so far as to maintain a human job.

In the demonic hierarchy, warlocks and low-level demons have very little power or position. They're often employed as underlings for more powerful demons, and are rather easily vanquished. In fact, they very rarely rate an entry in the Halliwells' Book of Shadows as they're usually considered more nuisances than real, substantial threats.

Upper-level demons, however, sit near the top of the hierarchy. They make for a more formidable threat, and aren't quite as easy to vanquish. Depending on how powerful they are, they can even resist certain witches' powers (i.e. Piper Halliwell's power of molecular immobilization). Above them are the Triad and The Source of All Evil.

Shield Projection
Also called forcefield generation or projection, shield projection is the ability to project a protective forcefield around one's self and others. The only know possessor of such an ability is Wyatt Halliwell, and even then, he hasn't demonstrated this ability as an adult. Though, that could just be because he learned to use his other powers to protect himself, rendering his forcefield moot.

T

Telekinesis
Telekinesis, which can be channeled through either the hands or the eyes, is the ability to move people and objects with the mind. This was Prue Halliwell's first power, though it was nowhere near as strong as that of her ancestor Brianna Warren, who had banished a sword to hundreds of miles away. Others known to possess telekinesis include Melinda Warren, another ancestor; Penny "Grams" Halliwell, the Charmed Ones' grandmother; Wyatt and Chris Halliwell, the two sons of Leo Wyatt and Piper Halliwell; and Billie Jenkins, a friend of the Charmed Ones. The youngest Charmed One, Paige Matthews, also exhibited a form of telekinesis known as telekinetic orbing, or tele-orbing

V

Vanquishing
Vanquishing is the term used to refer to when a demon, warlock, or other magical being working for evil gets killed. When that happens, said beings disintegrate, usually in flames, leaving no trace of their existence. This is to help keep magic from being exposed to mortals, though on the day all magic was down, so too was this ability.

Whitelighter
A Whitelighter is a guardian angel for good witches, though they also look after mortals destined to do great good and become Whitelighters when they die. They possess the ability to speak whatever language their charges speak, as well as levitation, thermokinesis, regeneration, and a form of teleportation known as orbing. They also possess the ability to heal others, but even then, they're only allowed to use it on innocents or in cases where their charges have been injured fighting evil. They answer to a group of beings known as the Elders, who oversee all good magic, much as The Source oversees all evil. Though they're technically already dead, Whitelighters can be killed with poison from a Darklighter's arrow.
