Book of Shadows

What It Is/Does: A Book of Shadows is a collection of spells, demons, potions, etc. that a good witch will use to vanquish evil. Alternately, an evil witch will keep one that helps them kill good witches and steal their powers. An individual can have their own Book of Shadows, or a family can pass down a singular one from generation to generation. The most famous one belongs to the Charmed Ones, which was first started by their ancestor Melinda Warren and has progressively grown throughout the centuries. The one that the Charmed Ones possess can protect itself from evil, and is the key to their powers, meaning that what affects them affects the Book. For example, when the Charmed Ones were turned evil, so too did their Book. The evil counterpart to the Charmed Ones' Book of Shadows is The Source's Grimoire.
