The Halliwells have their hands full. Not only are they still adjusting to life as the Charmed Ones, but Prue gets a new job at an auction house, Piper struggles to manage the restaurant where she works after the head chef deserts her, and Phoebe meets a handsome photographer who wants to take her picture. On top of that, they must stop a demon that feeds on the life force of young women in order to keep itself eternally young.

When the sisters' father comes to town, Prue, suspicious and still hurt by his abandonment years ago, decides she wants nothing to do with him. However, Piper and Phoebe are anxious to see him; that is, until Phoebe has a premonition of him stealing the Book of Shadows. Meanwhile, the Halliwells get new neighbors.
