Upon being reunited in their late grandmother's house, Prue, Piper, and Phoebe Halliwell receive the powers they were destined to have, and discover they're the fabled Charmed Ones, good witches prophesied to protect the innocent using the Power of Three. Meanwhile, Inspector Andy Trudeau and his partner Darry Morris investigate the gruesome, ritualistic murders of young women all over town, and it looks like the killer's next target could be the Halliwell sisters.

Not only are they still adjusting to life as the Charmed Ones, but Prue gets a new job at an auction house, Piper struggles to manage the restaurant where she works after the head chef deserts her, and Phoebe meets a handsome photographer who wants to take her picture. On top of that, they must stop a demon that feeds on the life force of young women in order to keep itself eternally young.
